Wireless Network Engineer - 4G/5G/Mobile Network rollout
We are currently recruiting for a wireless network engineer,to work for a mobile network reframing project in Gambia.
This is a full turn-key project including Site Acquisition,Site Design, Infrastructure, Civil Works, Deployment of 2G/3G swap technologyand new 4G/5G implementation from 2 different networks.
The role as Wireless Network Engineer will focus on:
End-to-end network architecture engineering. Delivery of solutions and overall quality and acceptance. Presenting to the customer and gaining approval. Radio Planning of 5G/4G networks to troubleshoot and improveKPIs. Responsible for all delivery related activities whichincludes parameter scripts, single site verification, drive test analysis. Develop comprehensive wireless network plans from marketlevel prioritization within a country down to individual site design andselection. Understand wireless network operator and infrastructureprovider business objectives, constraints, requirements and network planningand deployment processes. KPI monitoring during the project and all networkperformance related issues. Analyze KPIs and design networks to meet network quality andcost requirements.
In order to be successful in the role of Wireless NetworkEngineer you will need to demonstrate:
Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborationskills. Knowledgeable in wireless operator methods and practices. Deep understanding of Microwave, Fiber, and RF engineeringconcepts. Extensive Radio Network Optimization expertise across GSM /UMTS and LTE Knowledge and understanding of multi-carrier and multi-layernetworks Proven portfolio of success within rollout/swap projects
Experience: 3+ years of experience in wireless network infrastructureplanning, deployment and operations. Hands-on experience with installing and troubleshootingwireless access networks and technologies. Experience configuring and using RF/Backhaul planning toolslike Atoll, Planet and Pathloss.
