My question is that TA is specially used by UE to ensure orthogonality of uplink, however, Rx->Tx at UE side(corresponds to Tx->Rx at eNB side, and generally the TTP of UE side is longer) is accommodated at eNB side, not at UE side. It is just my opinion.
2、在UE从Rx->Tx的过程中,有这样几个时刻点:UE完成下行接受的t1时刻点、UE根据TA确定上行发送开始的t2时刻点。在t2-t1里,UE同时需要完成Off-ON switch(即20us的TTP of UE),也就是说t2-t1>=20us,同时t2=t1+GP1-TA;所以GP1-TA>=20;即GP1>=TA+20。所以推理应该是没有问题的。
总的说:
1、GP1是小区半径的线性函数,其起点为20(对应小区半径为0);
2、GP2是一个常量,协议里定为20.3125;
3、协议里的GP=GP1+GP2,即:也是小区半径的线性函数,起点为40.3125(对应小区半径为0)。

After check with specs. and book, I think you are right.
Things are two folds: (1) UE uplink timing is further advanced by TA_Offset(which is GP2) besides TA received from RAR or TAC, and (2) eNB uplink timing is also advanced by GP2 (which is part of GP).
