Open MCCCH Feature Procedure


The optional feature Multiple CCCH is a solution to increase the paging capacity, the capacity for Immediate Assignments and the capacity for Channel Requests by adding additional CCCHs on the BCCH TRX. By adding up to 3 new CCCH channels, the capacity for paging, Immediate Assignment and Channel Request will be increased with up to 300%. This will lead to less lost pages and a network that can handle the new more demanding paging traffic including more Immediate Assignments and more Channel Requests.
