CSCF in VoLTE

正在学习CSCF.　在网上看到这样一小段内容：

In the originating network, the I-CSCF receives the SIP Registration message from the P-CSCF and forwards it to the appropriate S-CSCF. With the selection of the S-CSCF, the I-CSCF steps out of the signaling path and takes no additional actions on behalf of the UE.


When the I-CSCF is in the terminating network, it is actively involved in session establishment following the SIP Invite message. With respect to the terminating network, the I-CSCF acts as the IMS gateway for messages coming from the originating S-CSCF. The Invite request and the progress messages route through the terminating network’s I-CSCF.

这段内容显示I-CSCF在originating network和terminating network中有不同的任务，但我不理解为什么会有这些不同。

谁能有比较好的资料讲述CSCF的，不要只是简单说分四个部分，某个部分做什么。
我想了解为什么要有这样的安排设计，是什么原因要建立这个部分，是什么原因让这个部分做这些工作，那个部分做那些工作。
是什么原因同一个部分在originating network和terminating network中做不同的任务。

有没有什么《大话CSCF》?
