Ericsson Evo Controller beats Huawei and ZTE controller products
Evo Controller 8200 has recently reached General Availability (GA) and it is clearly unbeatable on the controller market. In our recent analysis comparing EvoC 8200, Huawei’s BSC6900 and ZTE’s ZXUR 9000 (though questioned multimode capability) it can be concluded that Evo Controller 8200 has significant competitive advantages in terms of capacity, flexibility and cost of ownership.
First of all, Alcatel-Lucent and NSN do not have a multimode controller yet, despite the vendors’ claims. The only competing multimode controllers currently available are from Huawei and ZTE, and even ZTE’s multimode existence is being questioned by customers and external analysts 。
