LTE 8根发射天线采用下行波束赋形,应该是LTE-Advanced TM#9所引入的,TM#9基于非码书反馈,编码矩阵(码书)信息需要显式通知UE, 而且需要插入DL UE specific DM-RS 用于手机解调和做信道估计。
8根天线均映射到天线端口5,则各天线参考信号(DM-RS)占据相同的时频位置,在接收端不能将各天线的参考信号区分开,如何做信道估计呢?
"每个天线端口上的DM-RS是占据相同的时频位置",但是采用不同偏移值的ZC序列(确保相互正交)来区分不同天线端口或手机。
TS36.211上说明了port5的DM-RS的产生方法,好像没有用ZC序列啊,你说采用不同偏移值是什么意思呢?
Sorry, it is not cyclic shift of ZC sequence to differentiate DM-RS, LTE-A use orthogonal cover codes(OCC) to differentiate DM-RS, and no need to inform UE of the precoding matrix info in transmission mode#8/9 since it is non-codebook based precoding and precoding matrix is randomly selected.
If transmission antenna ports >4, the cell specific reference signals(only support 4 antenna ports) are not enough to support DL channel estimation, so CSI Reference signals are introduced in Release10(LTE-Advanced) to support up to max 8 transmission antenna ports.
